Matt Saunders – Veterinary Surgeon & Director

Qualifications: BvetMed MRCV

After growing up in Wales, I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2003. I immediately entered small animal practice and spent the next 2 years working at a large Veterinary Hospital in Buckinghamshire. Moving back to London, I then continued in a small animal practice at a very busy surgery in the South East. It was here, due to the especially high number of cats at our inner city practice that I developed an interest in feline medicine. After 5 years, with a young family in tow, it was in 2010 that we settled on the Somerset-Dorset border where I started work running the Wyndham Hill Surgery, Yeovil. Today I spend my time equally between our two practices, as I also now share ownership of the business.

You’re likely to find me, spade in hand at the bottom of the garden which I share with my wife, Pippa and our two children, Amber and Bryn. We have a great little cat called Kit, who’s otherwise known as my shadow. It probably is ‘the good life’.
