Anna Smith

I spent time at Kingston Maurward college completing animal care courses at school and a BTEC in Animal Management. After working at a couple of local boarding facilities, I got a job at Newton Clarke Vets as an Animal Nursing Assistant. I then went on to complete my nursing training here at the practice with the proud honour of being the first RVN to have been trained by Newton Clarke Vets.

I am a lover of all animals. My family, especially my Dad are animal fans too, so was lucky to have grown up with lots of pets around me. Particularly dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I have recently fallen very in love with rats. I always knew I wanted to work with animals. I love learning how to better the welfare of my own pets and patients at work and am always looking to understand species even more. My two children will hopefully love them as much as me.

I have two dogs (Arlo and Kisses), two cats (Thomas and Raymond), a rabbit (Bobbin) and three rats (Buff, Winston and Remy).
