I have been at Newton Clarke Vets since December 2020. Having started as a volunteer, I completed my Animal Nursing Assistant Certification in 2022 before continuing my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, which I achieved earlier this year (2025).
I love all aspects of veterinary nursing, particularly prepping patients and scrubbing into surgeries. I still have a lot to learn, but I know I’m in the right place.
I grew up on our family’s farm, where, of course, there were always lots of animals around. I now have a cat of my own called Rusty, but still share the responsibility of 2 dogs, 3 additional cats, 2 rabbits and an eastern turtle.
When I’m not looking after or mucking out animals, I love to restore classic cars with my dad and participate as a navigator in Comp Safari Rallies. This, for me (believe it or not), helps me wind down & relax. I am always open to new adventures – it’s just finding the time!
