I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015 and worked for a year in Yeovil hospital Cardiology department. Following this I was keen to take my career in a slightly different direction and joined the Royal Veterinary College, where I graduated in 2020. I began my first job as a Vet with the team at Newton Clarke Vets. I have a particular interest in surgery and in October I will be studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, but given my background have always found cardiology of interest also.
I was born in Yeovil and have always lived in the area. Playing sports consumes a lot of my free time and interest. Golf, tennis and going to the gym are top of the list. I haven’t got pets of my own, but my family have had Weimeraners for as long as I can remember, I’m very much looking forward to being at a point in life where I can get myself a Rhodesian Ridgeback!
I couldn’t wait to take the job at Newton Clarke Vets as the team here are amazing.
