I started nursing in 1979 and qualified in 1981. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with a variety of animals over the years – smaller animals such as rabbits, hamsters, gerbils etc, along with cats, dogs, reptiles, wildlife, monkeys, farm animals and horses.
I’ve worked in small animal veterinary hospitals, small animal practice (such as Newton Clarke!), mixed practice (dealing with pets, farm animals and horses) and a referral hospital. I’m incredibly lucky to have found a job that I’ve loved from day one, and I know that’ll never change!
Out of work, I enjoy walking with my dog, gardening, horse riding and caravanning.
