Rachel Slark

I moved to Somerset from East Sussex over 26 years ago with my three children, who all attended Martock Primary school. They have all grown up now and have families of their own. I have three wonderful grandchildren who are a pleasure.

My two spaniels, George and Ollie both come to work with me every day which they enjoy. I also have five rescued rabbits at home, all naughty females who keep me on my toes with their antics.

I have been part of the Newton Clarke Vets family for nearly 20 years, working as a receptionist for most of the time in Sherborne and Yeovil. I am now part of the management team helping with the day-to-day running of the practice. I still like to spend time at reception, seeing old and new clients.

I class myself truly lucky to be in a job I enjoy, with a talented team of people.
